Quebec City, January 30, 2025 – Kaleido, a pioneer in education savings since 1964, launches the second edition of its MORE for the Schoolyard contest, offering an eligible school or daycare centre the chance to win $25,000 to revitalize its outdoor playground. From January 30 to April 23, 2025, parents, school administrators, teachers and early childhood centre staff can register their schools using the entry form at kaleido.ca/en/contest/more-for-the-schoolyard.

Because the future comes into play in their schoolyard!

“After we saw the joy and pride of the children at Jeunes du Monde Elementary School in Terrebonne when they learned they had won the first edition of the contest in June 2024, it was clear that we would repeat this initiative in 2025,” notes Julie Cyr, Vice President, Marketing and Customer Experience at Kaleido. “The playground is such an important place for children. It’s a living space where they discover, learn and grow. It’s a dynamic place that stimulates creativity, cooperation and the development of young minds. And this is the vision that guides our initiative: We want to do more so that children can develop fully in an environment conducive to their well-being and happiness.”

By donating $25,000 to improve outdoor play areas, Kaleido aims to have a positive and lasting impact on children’s lives. This initiative is in line with the mission of Kaleido, which since 1964 has been supporting families to help young people achieve their full potential.

Through its IDEO+ individual RESP portfolios, the Quebec-based company contributes to socio-economic development by promoting student retention and access to post-secondary education. With this second edition of the MORE for the Schoolyard contest, Kaleido reaffirms its commitment to the education and well-being of young people, while enriching their learning and play environment.
